I was wandering across the Internet recently and was pleased to discover that BBSing is still alive after all of these years. To make a long story short, I accessed a few systems via telnet and ended up registering on two of them.
There is nothing quite like the nostalgic feeling of looking at ANSI art and playing your favorite Door games such as Legend of the Red Dragon.

Haha. You definitely should play LORD and other Door games again if only just for the nostalgic value of them. ;)

Ah, Memories!
I remember way back when I ran my own BBS and had "LORD" as one of the games. I miss those days, but after the Internet came along, FIDOnet just didn't seem the same. Though to be honest, I have not even considered looking at any BBS's in the last 5 years or so.

I hadn't really considered
I hadn't really considered looking myself but on a whim I ran a Google search and came across a website that listed active BBS. I couldn't help myself after that ;)
It seems that FIDO is pretty much dead now which is a real shame. I see a few posts here and there but that's about it.
