Has anyone had the chance to watch Elephants Dream yet?

I waited for the hype to cool down and finally had some time to download and watch it.

For those who have not heard of it, Elephants Dream is an eleven minute long film that was created entirely with open source graphics software (e.g. Blender) that has all of its production files freely available for you to use under a Creative Commons license.

I just finished watching it and I must say that I am quite impressed by Elephants Dream's beautiful graphics and its nicely done animation.

I will admit though that I did not really like the voices that much and I also thought a few other things could have used a little work...

However, if you keep in mind that the film's primary goal was to show off the capabilities of open source software, you simply have to say that not only did they do a superb job on the film.. they most likely raised a few eye brows in the animation industry as well.
