I recently came across Jamendo, a site dedicated to Creative Commons licensed music.

I have been listening to various musical genres on the site for about a day now and everything I have listened to thus far has been excellent. I was actually surprised at the rather large selection of music.

Aside from the great music, three things made me decide to write about this site.

1. You have the ability to make direct donations to the artists.
2. All of the music is encoded in Ogg Vorbis.
3. Full albums are available via BitTorrent.

It is definitely worth checking out and if you know of any similar websites please let me know.
